Parents deserve strong leadership

The Parents First DCSD Campaign is a bold new initiative to restore accountability, protect parental rights, and put students, not politics, at the center of our schools.

We’re taking the fight directly to the ballot box to give parents and the next generation a stronger voice in shaping the future of education in Douglas County.

Our priorities are clear: curriculum transparency with parental opt-in for sensitive topics, expanded access to homeschooling, charter schools, and school choice, fiscal responsibility that directs dollars to classrooms instead of bureaucracy, protection of girls’ sports and privacy, and real school safety reforms with School Resource Officers, modern security technology, and firm discipline policies. Together, we can restore common sense and excellence to Douglas County schools.
